Where little roots grow strong.
Magnolia Vine Kindergarten is a warm, play-based early learning home tucked into the heart of New Orleans. We blend Louisiana soul with modern early childhood research to raise curious, kind, confident little humans — ages two through six.

A little school with a very big heart.
We believe childhood is not a race. Every day at Magnolia Vine is a slow, careful invitation — to build a fort, read a story, taste a new fruit, paint the biggest sunflower, and discover that being kind feels good. Our teachers guide gently and celebrate loudly.
Emotionally safe
Small groups, consistent teachers, and daily rituals that help every child feel seen, heard, and held.
Play is the curriculum
Hands-on projects across art, music, storytelling, sensory play, and outdoor exploration — every single day.
Rooted outdoors
Fresh air, garden beds, tree shade, and long stretches of unstructured play in our green outdoor classroom.
Literacy woven in
Read-alouds, story circles, and a rich book corner that turns letters into a lifelong love of reading.
Family partnership
Weekly updates, cozy family events, and open-door conversations — because it takes a village, and we're it.
Big feelings welcome
We teach social-emotional skills the same way we teach ABCs: patiently, playfully, and every day.

Predictable rhythms, joyful surprises.
Children thrive when they know what comes next. Our gentle daily flow gives little ones the security to stretch, wonder, and try new things.

Words from our village.
"Our daughter runs into MVN every morning. The teachers know her heart. We could not ask for a warmer start to her school life."
"It feels like a small village school in the middle of the city. Homemade meals, real art, real dirt on real hands. We love it."
"MVN gave our shy little boy the confidence to speak up, make friends, and love learning. Worth every mile of the drive."
Come see us bloom.
Tours are cozy, unhurried, and free. Meet a teacher, walk the garden, sit in the reading nook. We would love to meet your family.
